Who we are and where this policy applies

PCN Entertainment Group Inc. ("PCN," "we," "us," or "our") operates PCN Nightlife. This policy describes the information handled when you apply for or use a PCN Nightlife account, browse member events, RSVP, manage preferences, or contact Charlie. It supplements the PCN Entertainment General Privacy Policy, which also applies to other PCN sites and services.

This policy is intended to explain Nightlife-specific handling and should be read with the PCN Entertainment General Privacy Policy. If the policies differ about a Nightlife-specific practice, this policy describes that practice; applicable law controls in all cases.

Information we handle

Depending on how you use PCN Nightlife, we may handle the following information:

  • Application information: first and last name, email, phone number, city, date of birth and age eligibility, music preferences, nightlife preferences, optional ideal-night-out selections, referral source, Instagram handle, and your application and consent choices.
  • Membership information: account and membership status, preferences for music and event types, communication-channel choices, and the dates those choices were recorded.
  • Event information associated with your account: RSVP status, waitlist position, and RSVP creation, cancellation, or check-in information where recorded.
  • Charlie messages: the messages you send to Charlie, Charlie’s response, and related event information used to answer the request.
  • Technical and security information: information needed to operate and protect an online service, which may include IP address, browser or device details, and service activity. The API records an IP address during invitation acceptance and records audit events for certain account changes.

The Nightlife web client stores your first name, selected preferences, application reference, and status token in browser local storage so it can restore your application status. After account activation, a member bearer token is stored separately in local storage. These tokens are credentials. Sign out on shared devices and clear browser storage if the device is not private.

How we use information

  • Receive, assess, and respond to membership applications, verify the 21+ eligibility requirement, and communicate application decisions or invitations.
  • Create and administer a membership, protect accounts, and provide member support.
  • Use your selected preferences and city to order or match available events, and create, update, or cancel RSVPs.
  • Provide Charlie responses using your question and relevant PCN event information.
  • Send service-related messages and send optional marketing messages through the channels you select.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the services; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations or lawful requests.

Depending on the purpose and your location, applicable law may permit processing based on steps you request, your consent, PCN’s legitimate business interests, or legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it for future processing; this does not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.

Charlie and AI service providers

Charlie uses your question and relevant confirmed PCN event information to prepare a response. A configured AI provider may receive the text you submit and limited event context to phrase that response. The current service uses Groq for this narration by default, and PCN may change the configured provider. Do not include sensitive personal information in a Charlie question. Charlie is not an emergency service or a substitute for professional advice.

Communications and your choices

Marketing email and SMS consent is optional. You can change available email and text preferences in your member account. You can also use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or reply STOP to a marketing text. Message and data rates may apply to texts. We may still send non-marketing messages needed to administer an application, membership, account security, or RSVP.

Cookies and browser storage

The Nightlife web client currently uses browser local storage for application status and a bearer token after account activation. PCN may use cookies or similar technologies on other PCN websites as described in the General Privacy Policy. Your browser settings can limit cookies or clear local storage, but doing so may sign you out or affect application status restoration and site features.

When information may be shared

  • With vendors and service providers that process information for PCN to host and operate the service, deliver communications, provide support, protect security, or provide the Charlie response. They may use information only as needed to perform their services for PCN, subject to applicable agreements and law.
  • With an event organizer or other service provider where necessary to administer an event, RSVP, ticket, or service you request, as described in that event’s information.
  • When required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, PCN, or the public, enforce applicable terms, investigate fraud, or address a security issue.
  • As part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate handling of the information.
  • With your direction or consent, or as otherwise described when the information is collected.

PCN’s published General Privacy Policy states that, except as described there, PCN does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties for their own promotional purposes. Marketing consent for PCN messages remains optional.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here and as required or permitted by law. PCN’s General Privacy Policy states that no purpose described there requires retaining personal information for longer than one year after account termination. Information may be retained longer where law requires or permits it, or where needed for fraud prevention, troubleshooting, investigations, enforcing terms, or legal claims. Information in backups may remain until those backups can be securely deleted or overwritten.

PCN uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service or method of storage can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.

International processing and external services

PCN is based in the United States. PCN and its service providers may process information in the United States or other places where they operate, subject to applicable law. The Nightlife Services may link to external websites, event organizers, ticket services, or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal information; object to certain processing; or withdraw consent. You can update some account and communication preferences in the service. To submit a privacy request, email info@pcnnightlife.com. We may need to verify your identity and will respond as required by applicable law. California residents may also make requests described in the PCN General Privacy Policy, including requests under California’s Shine the Light law.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message or change your member communication preferences. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts. Essential service messages may continue.

Age eligibility and children

PCN Nightlife is for people aged 21 or older and the application asks for date of birth to assess that requirement. PCN does not knowingly solicit personal information from or market to children under 18, consistent with the PCN General Privacy Policy. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact info@pcnnightlife.com so PCN can review the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as PCN Nightlife changes or as required by law. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice or seek consent where required by law.
