Put an offer in front of PCN members. Measure what follows.
PCN runs member campaigns around nightlife and events. Current reporting covers campaign delivery and attributed event response; a partner purchase readout requires consented transaction data and a holdout agreed before launch.
Illustrative campaign report
After-hours tasting offer
Fictional premium beverage partner · member offer + tracked shop link
These values are invented to show how a report could be structured. They are not PCN results, a client case study, or evidence of sales lift.
Did a member offer lead to more paid orders during the pre-agreed measurement window?
Compare purchase rates
Illustrative values only · equal-sized cohorts · no actual partner transactions
| Cohort | People assigned | Mock paid purchases | Mock purchase rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaign-assigned | 1,000 | 80 | 8% |
| Holdout | 1,000 | 50 | 5% |

In this fictional example, that is 30 additional mock purchases per 1,000 campaign-assigned people compared with the holdout rate.
How to read “campaign-assigned”: people assigned to a simulated campaign delivery. Assignment or delivery does not prove that someone viewed an ad. A rate difference by itself does not establish that the campaign caused additional purchases.
What PCN can report today—and what a purchase pilot needs
Event response and ecommerce purchases are different outcomes; reporting should keep them separate.
PCN can report today
- Campaign deliveries and sends recorded by PCN.
- Opens and clicks only when a delivery adapter reports them.
- Attributed RSVPs and recorded attendance for PCN events.
A purchase-lift pilot needs
- Partner transaction data with the required customer consent, including cancellations and returns.
- A privacy-safe matching plan agreed by PCN and the partner before launch.
- A fixed attribution window and a randomized or otherwise comparable holdout.
- A documented approach for unmatched records and other missing outcomes.
Neither event attribution nor an apparent exposed-versus-holdout difference alone proves causal sales lift.
Other ways a measured pilot could work
Possible applications, not case studies or claims of past performance.
| Partner | Possible action | Outcome to verify | Evidence needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Restaurant or venue | Member reservation offer or event invitation | Partner-confirmed bookings and attended covers | Consented booking outcomes and an agreed comparison group |
| Lifestyle DTC | Member product offer through a trackable shop link | Paid purchases net of cancellations and returns | Consented order outcomes and privacy-safe matching |
